How To Make Money With Affiliate Marketing Starting Without Any Money

A lot of beginners who want to start making money on the Internet have limited resources.

Since I’ve been there too, I want to give you a quick guide to making money with affiliate marketing with almost no money. You could do this with nothing, but if you can come up with $20 (check couch cushions – or ask friends), then you can make money faster and set yourself up to succeed long term.

First thing you need to do is find yourself a product you want to promote. The key is to find a popular product that people are already searching for by name. One easy way is to go to a site like Clickbank and check out the gravity (grav) of a product. If it’s over 80, then you’ve got yourself a very popular product and a good candidate for this system.

The next thing you want to do is review the product. While it’s possible to write a serviceable review of a product just by reading the salesletter, you’re going to do an exponentially better job of writing a review of the product if you’re actually read it. If you’re tight on cash, you can sometimes get yourself a complimentary copy of the product by emailing the owner and telling them you want to promote the product as an affiliate – it won’t always work, but it’s worth a try.

Okay, you’ve read the product and you’re convinced that it’s a good product? Great. Now it’s time to get yourself a domain name (about $9) related to the product. For example if the product is called "Paid To Drive", then you’d want to get a domain like http://PaidToDriveReview.com. If it’s a popular product, that domain probably won’t be available, but use your imagination and you can always find a good domain.

Have your domain? Good, now get yourself some web hosting – which costs about $3/month. Okay, now it’s time to write a review of the product and put it on your new web page. If you don’t have an HTML editor, you can get a free one like CoffeeCup which will be just fine for your needs.

Now here’s where the fun comes in. It’s time to start promoting your website because nobody is going to come visit your site if you don’t start promoting it.

At this point a lot of gurus out there will recommend you start driving traffic via Pay Per Click or other paid advertising methods, but since we’re doing this on a very tight budget, I’m going to show you how are going to get traffic to your site for free.

The first thing you’re going to do is go out and find three or four forums and register to start posting in those forums. Make sure that the forums allow you to have a link in your signature line. A lot of forums allow this, but some don’t so make sure. Once you’ve registered, start posting in each one everyday. Answer questions that you can and contribute to discussions. Try to be helpful. You won’t be doing anything to promote your new website except in your signature line. Don’t think this means that you have to spam forums because that’s absolutely not true.

The next thing you’re going to do is start writing everyday. Everyday you should write 1-3 articles related to the topic your website is on and submit these articles to at least 3 different article directories. Use the about the author section to promote your new website.

Finally, start posting on free classified sites like Craigslist and start promoting your website that way as well. Do this everyday as well.

At first you may find that you’re not getting a lot of traffic, but as you keep at this everyday (and the key is do ALL these things EVERY single day) you’ll start seeing a snowball effect and you’re be making affiliate sales in no time.

Using Blogs For Affilate And Adsense Profits Combined

How do you set up a blog for effective affilate and Adsense profits?

Here is the low down of how it’s done and some of the in’s and outs of rss.

For this example I will use web hosting as the affilate product we selling on the blog.

1. Rss is great for getting the robots to visit but it will not get you visitors until

*You have quite a number of pages
*Have decent page rank…

2. Best blog platform…

> http://www.wordpress.org

3. Blog page - index page.

*A two column blog I find works the best
*The sidebar should be on the right hand of the page for SEO purposes
*Heading for your affiliate reviews shouls be first… something like “In-Dpeth, Top 5 Cheap Hosting Reviews”. Two links underneath, one going to reviews and the other to “why our reviews are more relaible than other sites”

4. Reviews of your products.

4 to 10 reviews, make them long and give info of what benefits one product has over the other and a rating for different aspects. Do not put adsense on your reviews page.

This site does it really well - http://www.keywordworkshop.com/ and it’s a blog to boot.

5. Next heading in the sidebar - “Articles”

A link going to current articles followed by a search box for your articles. Each article page is where you Adsense sits and here are some good tips…

*All links including Adsense, one color underlined.
*Research has shown the normal blue and darker blue get’s the best hits
*Adsense in the middle and at the end of all your articles… you will get less click troughs with Adsense in the borders

6. Next heading “contact Me”

Blurb… A little confused with all the info, so many choices or an aspect of one of “hosting reviews” (linked to your review page … feel free drop me an email any time.. blah blah

Then more headings after this is you wish… “My fav top ten hosting tips articles”… “Top 5 Domain Name Website Reviews”? and so on.

The way I see it, is if they are customers coming for information on a given product, service or business area, why not stick some products up and make some more money!

If they are just interested in the articles monetize those with Adsense.

And then if for any reason you have a bad Adsense month, the affilate income is there as a backup.

The final tip is to keep your blogs clean so people can easily find the information they are looking for whether that be a product or articles. Heres one of my article directories as an example…

Content, Traffic And More Google Adsense Profits

How to get content using articles grow targeted traffic and get more money with Google AdSense program.

Today everybody is talking about good content and how important it is to have one on any site. Good, relevant content is so loved by search engines. Quality content is a powerful advantage in the Internet.

The demand for quality content gave second birth to article. I am sure you already tried to submit or write and submit article(s). Everyone does it now. My experience shows that nice content and good submission work give you a huge publicity online. With time article pages get bigger and bigger PR and keep sending you extra targeted traffic.

Even if Google, Yahoo, MSN change their rules, will this affect good content? Never. Internet is nothing without good, relevant content and good article is a nice content indeed.

This is when it comes really easy to understand that running your own article directory is a very smart thing to do in terms of Internet marketing, SEO.

The BENEFITS of having article directory on your site are great:

- every day your site grows with new relevant content - articles;

- each new page is indexed by search engines, these are the pages with super relevant content, on your keywords, this means with every new article in your directory you score more on your keywords with search engines;

- each article page is a page with quality content, the Page Rank of article page grows with time - just think how many pages with nice PR you will have automatically;

- article directory gives you traffic from search engines, very targeted traffic, people who come to read and find, your site gives them super relevant content (tests on real sites prove that people click 10+ more pages in sites with article directory in comparison to 2-3+ clicks before article directory was created on this site);

- you have no problems with content, it grows itself, fresh articles, on the keywords you need;

- you can easily monetize the traffic with Google AdSense, if you have your own products/services in the niche - direct traffic from article pages to your subscription email or order page - you have the right to do that, it is your site.

So, having article directory on your sites is much better than not having article directory.

What can stop you from creating article directory for your site now?

#1. You do not have the skills. - Now everything is easy as programs do all the job. All you need is a professional tool for creating and running your article directory. You just install it on your sites, do setup and the rest is managed by the tool.

#2. Articles can be dangerous. - Yes, they can. If you plan to create directory with 200-1,000 articles in 2 days, search engines may think that you are a spammer. But who says to do so? Grow your directory gradually. 5-10 new articles a day are better than hundreds in a bulk.

Search engines like to see gradual growth of articles in the directory, give them this gradual growth. All you do is picking up or declining articles. Accept about 10 top relevant and interesting articles and the tool generates pages, puts them in the category you choose, creates RSS feed for the pages - everything to get bigger attention from search engines.

Now you see, that the only problem with article directory on the site is the question of balance. When you try to squeeze everything at once, your directory will have the content, but search engines will notice your growth only once.

On the other hand, if you are not trying to catch up with wind and care for quality of each article, the gradual growth will show much better results. Still, getting extra 10-20 new quality content pages every day is not a bad thing. Even if Google bosses visit your site every week, they will not say anything: you are not spamming, you are managing your directory, taking care of the quality for your clients and visitors.

Article Directory + Smart Efforts = Content, Traffic & Money
